I heard about Little Land in Bee Cave multiple times from other families before we made our first visit, which is why I knew it was a must see. Little Land is a great indoor play space for families that are looking for a place to play that is clean and not too crowded. The age range listed for Little Land is newborn to 12 years old. However, in my opinion the activities are geared for crawling babies up until 7 or 8 years old. They have 2 hour open play sessions Monday through Saturday and you can find the schedule here https://www.littlelandplaygym.com/location/bee-cave.
The first time we went to Little Land I was only with my two year old and we went when big brother was in school. Something that I like (and always appreciate at kid play gyms) is there is a designated area for children up to 24 months. This area has a small fence around it to discourage older kids from running through and while it is not totally closed off, it provides extra safety for our little ones. It has toddler toys and cushioned blocks and slides to climb on. This area is nice for the youngest visitors because everything is soft and their size. My two year old’s favorite part is the large window that goes all the way to the floor so he can look out and see what is going on in the outside world as well!
The rest of the main play space is full of swings, climbing activities, slides, and toys. The toy section is contained as well so it creates a nice space for the kids to bring out and play with the blocks and pretend food. They have dolls, a little piano and the cutest grocery pretend play setup! Outside of this section there is a climbing wall, slides, and a few unique swings that kids of all ages will enjoy. There is plenty of space to run around and burn some energy while trying all of the activities. They also have small couches and chairs all around for caregivers to use while watching.

The last room (which is my two year old’s favorite) is full of light activities and bubble tubes with pretend fish floating around. There is a large light peg wall where children can use different color pegs to make a neat design. There is also a light table with tiles where they can build. This room is usually a little quieter than the rest of the space so it’s also a nice place for kids to play if they are getting tired of running around or if they get overwhelmed with the other activities and noises.
Of course last, but not least is what is available for the adults while they watch their kids play. If you have older kids that play more independently there is an open seating area right outside the play space where parents can sit and watch and use the free wifi. There are also snacks and drinks for purchase. However, keep in mind the snacks are more geared for the little ones and not as much for the grownups! However, there is a Shipley Do-Nuts just a few doors down that is open in the morning if you want a little treat.
Little Land has been a fun activity for my family. It is an air conditioned place to visit during those hot afternoons or rainy days where the kids can run around and play. Both my eight year old and two year old have fun there. I will add that even though my eight year old really enjoys playing here I do think he would get tired of it if we went back multiple times in a month while on the flip side my two year old can keep going again and again and never get bored.
Right now Little Land only allows limited visitors during their open play session so I do recommend making a reservation if you know when you want to go in advance. They do allow walk ups as well as long as the time slot is not filled. You can see all of the different open play times on their website here: https://www.littlelandplaygym.com/location/bee-cave. We usually go during the week in the afternoons and it has not been too crowded which we like and in my experience is definitely busier in the morning and on Saturdays. The current price is $15 per open play session and each session is 2 hours long. They do have options to purchase 5 or 10 packs of play sessions as well which will give you a small discount per play session. We decided to go ahead and purchase the 10 play pack since I know we will use that up pretty quickly.
Little Land also offers classes and has options for birthday parties. Even though my family has not participated in any of these yet I think it is something we will look into in the future. I hope you get a chance to check it out soon!
